Private Tennis Lesson FAQs
Can I book repeat tennis lessons?
Yes - when creating your booking in our app, select the repeat booking option and you will automatically be booked in for a private lesson each week.
Are tennis lessons available for all skill levels?
Definitely! Our team of tennis coaches work with players of all abilities, from completely new players looking to get the basics right, up to advanced players improving specific areas of their game.
Can I hire a tennis racket for my lesson? Are tennis balls provided?
Yes, you can hire a tennis racket for your lesson. Hire costs £15 per lesson per racket. Payment is taken by card when you arrive. Tennis balls are provided for lessons.
I need to cancel a private lesson. Will I get a refund?
Private lessons cancelled more than 24 hours in advance via our app are eligible for a refund. Emailing/texting or verbally telling a coach or another KTC staff member does not equal cancellation.
I’ve booked a lesson with you. How do I find the court?
Check the location on the website or app. Each location has a Google Maps link. Our venues are locked so if you need to enter before your lesson, do not be alarmed if the gate is locked. At the time of your lesson, a coach will come to the gate and let you in. If you are still unsure, please contact the Kensington Tennis support team via the app.
What happens if it rains during my lesson?
In England, we know the weather can be unpredictable! That is why we do not cancel lessons if the forecast is unfavourable. If the coach deems it impossible to continue with the lesson, arrangements will be made to replace the lost lesson time for those who attended. To be eligible for a lesson refund, members must have attended the lesson in person. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details on player responsibility regarding weather conditions.
